Galileo Galilei Planetarium

Galileo Galilei Planetarium (Parque Tres de Febrero, Av. Sarmiento y Belisario Roldon, Buenos Aires) – this planetarium was opened in 1968. Given its location within the Parque Tres de Febrero, it’s hard to miss (looking like a spaceship or giant egg cup to many passersby). Inside the giant dome there is an auditorium displaying the night sky and it seats a few hundred for regular shows. There is also a large telescope for a more hands-on stargazing experience. The planetarium offers a wealth of fun and educational free activities including the night sky show, astronomy courses, and interaction with visiting scientists.
